Tuesday - October 13th, 2026 - "Yielding to Truth"

1 Peter 5:6 – “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time He may exalt you.”

Humility is a deliberate choice to lower one’s own ego, acknowledge their limits, and yield to God. And part of humility is relying on God’s timing, not your own. God has a time to exalt you, meaning He wants to move you forward, He wants you to advance, He wants you to be seen, but that is in HIS time, not your own. Humility is yielding to this truth. It is serving without expecting recognition or without the promise of advance. It is serving for one cause; exalting God as His servant in all you do. Humble yourselves today, put on the character of the Lord, and trust in His time.
