The essential idea of a lack of patience is, essentially, not understanding the value of a “thing’s” maturity. We want to get to the end of a process, but we loose value in the process, because it is the process that brings about the maturity of what we are hoping for. As we read in today’s passage, patience is the best way to endure. It is the opposite of pride, it is in face a humble way of trusting in God for the thing you are wanting and have been praying for. Today, know that God sees the need and knows your desire. Embrace patience, trust in God, and enjoy the process.
