Sunday - October 18th, 2026 - "The Righteous Serve"

Proverbs 29:7 – A righteous man knows the rights of the poor; a wicked man does not understand such knowledge.

What is the difference in the righteous vs wicked in this passage? It is simply that the wicked is do self-absorbed that they do not pay attention to needs while the righteous one is active in bringing justice to everyone around them. Are you “wicked” in the sense of only caring about what is best for you or are you “righteous” in that you look to serve others and see their need? It is so easy to get caught up in our needs, wants, and desires; today take some time in prayer and posture/align yourself with God and ask Him to reveal how you can pour into the needs of others. He saved you – be righteous!
