3 John 1:2 – Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.

John writing to Gaius highlights 2 parts of his prayer; health in his soul (his mind, heart, will, and emotions) and in his body. We should not only be concerned with our spiritual health, but the health of our whole being; after all, you are the temple of the Lord! He is in you and wants to work through you. God works best through a healthy mind, a body ready to go wherever He says, a healed heart, and a will to serve the Lord without reservation.
